“There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in.” ~ Graham Greene

I am Haitian Canadian, and my background has profoundly shaped who I am today. This insporation led to the creation of La Canuck Kreyòl (La Kuh·nuhk Kree·owl). Canuck means Canadian, and Kreyòl signifies creole in Haitian creole.

One of my fondest childhood memories was watching my mother handcraft quilts. Yes, by hand! I was 7, and this experience sparked my love affair with fashion, becoming an integral part of my identity. I adore fashion fr its inclusivity and avvailability to empower everyone.

My style is boldly unique, ranging from edgy to vibrant and aesthetically pleasing colors. I draw inspiration from both local and global sources, believing that life's treasures such as art, film, and architecture can spark creativity.

I channel my creative energy into capturing fashionable looks through my style and sewing/upcycle journey on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. As a self-proclaimed sewist extraordinaire, I love sourcing exquisite fabrics or transforming items from my closet into something uniquely beautiful.

My mission is to inspire women of all shapes and sizes to embrace their uniqueness because being ourselves is inherently beautiful.

Step into my colorful world!
